Orbit Rush

What is Orbit Rush?

Orbit Rush is a minimalist arcade survival game based around a misleadingly simple idea: you are a tiny planet caught in orbit around a massive black hole. Gravity is constantly dragging in your planet, with the only aim is to live as long as you can. But survival is not passive. Space is full of hazards, and you need to be on the ball every second. One mistake, one mis-tap, and your run is over.

With its clean visuals and intuitive gameplay, the game is accessible, but one needs focus, patience and fast reactions to truly master it.

Control the Orbit

In Orbit Rush, your score is how long you survive. Your planet is naturally drawn toward center by gravity. By tapping or holding, you push out, you gain some distance from the pull.

This makes for a game of core tension:

  • Stay close to the black hole → Faster score development, higher risk
  • Stay farther away → Safer position, slower score

The closer you orbit the center, the more points you make — but you have a tiny window for error. Experienced players come to dance on the edge of disaster, racking up scores without losing control.

Success in Orbit Rush is finding flow and equilibrium, not frantic motion.

Controls

Orbit Rush maintains intuitive controls on all devices:

  • Tap the screen → Push outward
  • Click the mouse → Move away from the center
  • Hold “A” on controller → Outward movement
  • Release input → Drift inward again

It’s the degree of simplicity that allows players to concentrate purely on timing and survival.

Smart Survival Techniques

To enhance your experience of Orbit Rush, take these tips:

  • Don’t panic-tap – Smooth tap rhythm keeps orbit more stable
  • Make playmaking decisions tied risk with relatively near-center play for fastest score growth
  • Acclimate to acceleration – Things get tougher as runs get longer
  • Unlock skins - Cosmetic rewards keep progression fun!

After a while, you’ll start to get a feel for gravitational drift and when to push and when to pull.
